In a month that has seen yet more growth and expansion across the community – with new members in Birmingham, London and Bristol and record numbers tuning into our evening digital event, the month of September was wrapped up in style, with the wonderful team over in Bristol.
PiP Bristol… had quite a day on Friday, at its September event, dedicated to commercial property investing. Superb speakers, a full and engaged room, networking with some of the loveliest and most experienced people in the business, birthday cake and after event celebrations at the Avon Gorge. A big thank you to the Bristol team for another fantastic day over at The Engineer’s House, Clifton Down – we are all still buzzing!
First up was an extended “members showcase” and was delivered by two super Bristol PiP members, who have been working together, to craft a fabulous commercial project. Nick Josling and Peter Bacon are two experienced property investors, with a wealth of skills and knowledge, who have come together to bring all of these various skill sets, experience and knowledge to bear, to unravel a complex deal. Thank you both for presenting with such clarity and providing so many learning points that we lost count… for the whole room!
Next up we heard from one of our sponsors, John Cox, of Insurance Desk. John delivered an insurance update, with many top tips and case studies. The phrase “let’s not make a drama out of a crisis” was made for Insurance Desk, who love quirky, tough to insure situations, that require out of the box thinking – and it’s why our members love to do business with them!
After John we heard from the one and only Craig Beesley. Craig is from The Mortgage Consultancy and is another one of our sponsors. Craig’s presentation was timely and eagerly awaited, as the situation with interest rates is very fluid at the moment! Craig delivered his presentation with flair and high energy and, as a property investor himself, he knows exactly what our members’ motivations and concerns are, because they are his too!
And last, but not least, we heard a fabulous presentation from the queen of commercial investing herself, Suzi Carter. Suzi’s presentation covered the complete spectrum of commercial investing, her wealth and depth of experience and knowledge on this topic is extremely impressive and, consequently, no commercial day would be complete with her. Thank you so much Suzi, for a fabulous presentation with huge learning points for our members!
